During my busy days, I couldn't take my dogs to daily long walks.. but I taught many new tricks! Teaching tricks is very good and fun, it only takes 5-10min in one session, even teaching two dogs, its 20 min! great for busy days! here is Koto and Niah's new trick hug! Its very cute trick ;)
Long time no update! I just finished my final presentation and I am VERY HAPPY! the last 3 days, I only had 3-4hrs sleep every night... I have a lot of sleep to catch up! My final design and presentation went very well and I had a very good feedbacks. I have one more assesment in one week then I will have a lot of time to play with dogs;)
I've been very busy, final assessment is due in few weeks, plus I have exhibition in next week,
Niah failed Obedience test this morning because running off during heeling walking, (the most easiest and the great one for him) then poop, then he must felt very good and decided to keep running :)
When we come home, I forgot to took his brand new and great agility harness off (ordered from America, took 6 weeks to receive) , he completely chew up, torn in to 2 pieces.!!
He also chew up carpet and made a big hole and big damage on coffee table tonight..
I know there were many mistakes that I should have done, but hey, please.. time to stop chewing ~

Great for Agility! but a little noisy... wow I just realised that Niah got serious sun burn.. I really need to put some sunscreen on him when I go out..

Serpentine has been very difficult one for me, because my cue is always late! Niah is doing very good but someone has to practice is ME;) 2x2 and teeter is getting better too! We will make poles straight this week and add another set of 2 poles. Also I decided to repeat Silva's class. It is such a great class and all I have been learning is how fun is training dog and agility! I will be focus on running contact, weave, and sequences this time!
One of my favorite classmate's training video. Gitte the high-drive super shelty! I am always learning a lot from their training and silvia's comments. Gitte is just turned to 1years old, almost the same birthday with Niah...haha.. very different ;) well, I really shouldn't compare! I have no experience and I am believing to keep in my pase is good for him. You can see what I am trying to achieve fin this weekend.

まだ手つかずですが、うちの裏です。 カラーという花が満開です。ここに見える窓はベットルームとバスルーム、キッチンの一部ですが、どの部屋の窓から外を覗いてもこの満開の真っ白なカラーの花が見えて本当に奇麗。毎朝ブラインドを開けるのが楽しみです♩ We haven't done any gardening here, but beside the bedroom and kitchen windows are full of flower called Colour (not sure spelling..) It is so nice to look out from the window!! Beautiful :)
Yay! We've got internet connection again!! and Niah is fully recovered from Desex. We are finally back in training.. but very far behind from Silvia's classes, a lot of training! All these videos are not finished.. still working on them but Niah's motivation to obstacle is getting better and better every sequence and I am proud of him!
(Kyo-wa, Nihongo kinou no nai PC kara desu. Eigo dakede suimasen) Out house is still very messy, No-internet, School is getting busier, and Agility foundation class is getting more and more difficult and we are far behind...but I have bright Sunroom and entry area where I can deeply relax, look out my front and backyard and read paper, books and magagines with my dogs.
It has been more than one week since we moved to new house but still No Internet connection. it is frustrating!! We are loving the new house but still has so much to do. The best moment is waking up with birds singing, sleeping with sound of frog, or wind, No more traffic, huge track noise and drunk young kids screeming :) Dogs are just happy to have own backyard! Niah has been very naughty. He is almost back in puppy. New environment, New Behaivor. well hopefully he will learn quickly.
Here is koto loving her new frisbee!at new house. She has got this old frisbee from Molly and still is her favorite toy!! no matter the shape changed very much.
Poor Niah, He had a Desex yesterday, and he looks like the saddest dog in the world. He started to lick wound a lot last night so we put corn collar on him. Pretty funny(sad) to see dog with collar, he is hitting his head every single wall and objects when he walks.. (Koto did never hit her head like him!) He looks like a cat without Whiskers, totally lost his control! hanging there Niah Bo!
Another thing that we are struggling is our new garden.. We are finally moving to new house this weekend but we have been gardening for a week. Currently the backyard is very wet and as soon as dog run, it become a terrible-muddy pit. Grass is very bad condition and not looked after for such a long time. We've been working to kill weeds and trying to grow grass. Huge space to work on, and sure it's not a easy job!
but we choose the house because of this spacious backyard to play with dog. Takes awhile but we believes it will be very good soon :)

I love laying down on the floor with dogs and take pictures of the moment when dogs daydreaming of something they like.. park? born? or chasing birds.. whatever they love! innocent and completely relaxed moment! 1st picture Molly Daydreaming at my house.
This week was a bit strange.. I was feeling up and down about moving.
I used to love moving house and discover the new area in Tokyo so I moved house to house every 2 years when I finish my contract, (Japanese houses are based on 2 years lease contract)
But I never felt I wanted to move from this house, because all my current life is actually surrounded by my house. And I do love Carlton North and Rathdowne street.
My new house in Kew is not that far away from here, but I can not ride my bike to school.. I can not shop at supermarket cross the road, and I can not go to my favorite cafe and bakally regularly.
it is such a small things but I must discover the new community and favorite shops again.
Changing living environment is not easy, but change is good.
Everything will be fresh and I am sure I will get used to new environment soon.
But somehow.. I feels like I am going to Docklands or somewhere 100km away from here.
I guess it is because this house has full of lovely memories with my friends, family, dogs and full of life, Sunny and spacious kitchen always let me relax.. I will miss you my beautiful art-deco apartment.
This weekend, we did practice "extension jumps with cik/cap". My command is too late, and posture, my arms... I have many things to practice with him!!
The very important point for the sequence lessons are:
*Always running in parts of sequence, starting with a small part and then adding more&more obstacles,
little parts of sequence several times, but the whole sequence is only once or twice.
*After every try, PLAY!! and give a dog a break
*Always run sequence without the dog and only I remember well and know it, then try with dog~!!
Very important!!
and yes, we had a great fun!
It is so clear to see dog making mistake or progress if the sequence is separated in short parts!
Niah's tunnel motivation increased so much when I put tunnel in straight line on second day! I am very proud of him:) specially I can see that he is very excited about running with me! Koto knew extension jump already so it has been hard to combine with cik/cap turn, her turn gets wider after the extension. I will upload her video soon. They both had a great time today! they are both already sleeping tight!
I have been seeing the golden sunset and huge double rainbows almost everyday.
and, yes, we have got a house with huge backyard too..wow.
Change is good but a little bit scary! but we can grow vegetable and do agility training everyday. pretty amazing:) Look up the bright side! We can make the house nice and cozy :)
I went to house inspection today, and we really liked the house!
But it is located on 10km away from the city of Melbourne.
it has been hard to find the house we like, Most of the rental houses are very expensive(over priced) and poorly maintained old houses
Our current art-deco apartment,(10min from the city) is very cheap, spacious and
is super convenient place to be, and close to everywhere in Melbourne.
so we have been stuck here for 8 years~! but change is also good! The house we saw today was 2nd house from the corner on above picture!
Yes, there is a HUGE back yard, spacious and clean house with sunny sun room where you can sit and look out back yard and trees. Plenty space for dogs to run and agility training, vegetable patch, very close to park, tennis court, river side walk path. hmm, sounds good. we might apply for this:)
