Fighting with Grass seeds

we enjoyed early summer bush walk today.

Koto and Niah were so excited to came to mountain trail, 

but caught by 100s of grass seeds all over their body and legs :(

Their tail was almost dread-rock! 

Koto doesn't like anything stack on her body so 

it wasn't pleasant walk for her, but not 

young boy Niah. He just doesn't care!

Yes, they are back in on lead!

but we had a fun walk

今日は初夏の山道の散歩を楽しんできました

コトニアは山のトレイルにこれて本当に大はしゃぎ！

でも気づいた時は遅し、体中ギジギジのグラスシードがくっついて

大変。得にシッポのなかに絡み込んで

ドレッド状態。。コトは自分の身体に何か着くとかなり

気にする子なので座り込んで引っ張って、舐めて、、

座って引っ張って、、を繰り返し

楽しめなかったみたい。

反対にニア君はドレッドになろうがどんなにちくちくしようが

行きたい所へ行く〜！！男の子だね。でもね

最後にそのギジギジ君と取るのは私なんだからね。。

The final Trial of 2012

昨日今年最後のトライアルに参加してきましたが

やっとノービス脱出できました〜

本当に小さなミスで4大会クリアラン無しで少しストレス気味だったので

今年最後の大会でクリアが出来て本当によかった。。。

琴はエクセレントジャンピングを2位で2回もクリアしました！

終わりよし！来年も頑張ります♩

We had a very last agility trial yesterday. 

Finally! finally we are out of Novice jumping!

We had 4 trials of no-clear run.. It was becoming a little painful for us. 

Niah got 1st place in Novice jumping and Koto got 2x 2nd place in Excellent Jumping! 

It was great way to finish end of the year trial.

Nice ending! we will do our best next year too ♩

Silvia's Handling class course #3

We have been practicing Silvia's course #3 from Handling class.
It is very tricky course, but so much to learn.
Look at Niah's tight turn and beautiful line!  He is so much fun to run with :)
今週はシルビアのハンドリングクラスのコース＃3を小さいシーケンスに分けて練習しています。
かなり難しいトリッキーなコースですが、本当に色々といい練習が出来るコース。
ニア君のタイトターンとラインはいつみてもきれい。
あまりバーも落とさなくなって来たしスピードも出て来て
ニアと一緒に走るのが凄く楽しいこのごろです：）

Stride study at the park

This is our favorite park where we come almost every day.
It under the highway entry bridge, so that not many people/dogs come here.
But it is dog offlead area and we love this landscape here :)
We did our dog's running stride study today (to know one stride length when they are running full speed) Poles are set up in one meter, so we could measure their strides. they are both 2meter!
yes, we are thinking of new strategy to make them RUN in agility!!

高速道路入り口の高架下にあるので　ジョギングをしてる人くらいしか来ないので
この広大な公園が毎日貸し切り状態なんですよ：）もちろんオフリードok
今日はコトニアがフルスピードで走ってる時のストライドの長さを計ってきました。
ポールを1メートルごとにセットしてフルスピードで走ってる姿を横から
ビデオ撮影してスローモーションでみてみました！2匹とも1ストライドが
2メートルでした。
琴ニアは現在アジリティをフルスピードで走れていないので色々な作戦計画中！

最近トライアルでニュージーランドハンタウェイを見かけたのですが
カッコいい：）走りも良いしなんといってもグッドルッキン！
フェイスブッグでNZDACの写真のページを見つけましたよ
 やっぱり　オージーとは全然違う！！かっこいい犬ばかり＠

I have seen quite few New zealand Border Collie on trial here recently and LOVE them! 
They are so beautiful and what a great looking dogs. 
I start following NZDAC photos page on facebook! what a stunning dogs.
and I loved the last photo, jumping off the see saw acrobat shot:)

Tire Jump coming soon!

We have been making jumping obstacles out of PVC pipes.
The cheapest option for small back yard practice.
Niah testing our handmade tire jump frame. 
I will saw Tire with strong fabric very soon :)
パイプでジャンプを沢山作ったのですが、ついでに
タイヤも作ってみました。パイプは安いのでちょっとした練習にはいいです！
ニア君に自転車のタイヤでテストジャンプしてもらいましたが、ばっちりでしたよ
タイヤ自体は近いうちに布に綿を詰めてミシンで作るつもりです。

We are back from Trial trip!

wow, we loves country side trial. 

this weekend was 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne near the beach. 

and beach and sky was crystal clear blue! beautiful Australian landscape and 

many healthy live stocks everywhere we go!. 

I didn't get single qualify but Niah did great runs for me.

And wow, Koto and my husband got 4x First place!!!

Koto was connected with Dean so tight and they did beautiful runs.

we were very happy that Koto is finally getting used to Trial environment

and she is switched on to Agility now :) We have 2 more trials in this year. 
I would love to get out of Novice in this year. I will do our best@@

アジリティ遠征旅行から帰ってきました。

メルボルンから3時間半の海沿いの田舎街でのトライアルだったのですが

海と空がクリスタルクリアーな青。ランドスケープも本当に奇麗だし

どこをみても動物が沢山いる街で　景色もトライアルも満喫しました〜。

残念ながら私とニアはパスできなかったのですが、ニア君

素晴らしい走りをしてくれたので大満足

そして琴ちゃんがなんと1席を4ランも獲得！ノービス脱出しました〜

琴がトライアルの環境でこんなに落ち着いていれたのは　

初めてだし、ディーンとのコネクションも凄くよくて先生やジャッジ、仲間達にも

大絶賛されてました！

随分慣れて来てくれたしアジを本当に楽しみ出したようです。

商品でドッグフード12キロ、ドッグベッドダグリードおやつなど沢山貰いました！

写真はトライアルから10分くらいのドッグビーチ。

奇麗〜〜 　トライアルの写真はないのですが、このトライアルの写真に写ってる人とワンコは

日本に行ったブルームーンビルの同体のスカウトちゃんだそうです。

グレースとジュークのコです。  小柄で凄く速いコです。

今年はあと2つ程トライアルがあるので　

ノービズ脱出めざして　がんばります＠＠

Going to Warrnambool trial !

2日間のアジリティトライアル旅行に行ってきます：）
あと一つジャンピングがパスできたらコトもニアも
ノービスからエクセレントに上がれます！頑張ってきます

それから下は腕に付けるゼッケン番号ケース
これは全てリサイクルの物を使ってるのでコストゼロ。
ミシン絶好調です！
