Tassie Trip Day 2- Ralphs Fall to wully butt cottage

We saw "Quoll" I have never know about this 

spotted little cute guy! 

it is very rare to see them in wild now. Very lucky!!

 クオールというポッサムを水玉にしたような動物を山で見かけました：）

今ではタスマニアに住む人でも見る事が

難しいらしいです。ラッキー！

 We stopped to see Ralphs Fall during 

our driving throw Great Western Tiers.

Dogs are okay to take to walk :)

ナショナルパークは動植物保護の為犬は一切

出入り禁止なのですが、ここはステイトフォレストだったので

琴ニアと一緒にラルフスフォールと呼ばれる滝

を見にハイキングができました：）  

 

 結構高いのです。。

そしてこの広大さは写真では写りません。。

And here is our new accommodation for next two days, 

Called Wully Butt Cottage -locate on Falmouth, near St. Helens. 

It is VERY dog friendly, very cute and cozy

owner Blitz used to breed cattle dogs, and he has two beautiful working cattle dog.

He provide us break fast and delicious milk.. very comfortable! 

Cottage is made by Britz, using mud bricks.

そしてこれから2日間の宿泊先のコテージです。

Falmouthという小さなコースト沿いの街にあり St. Helens

という街から車で15分程の所にあります。オーナーさんが

自分で建てたこのコテージはアンティークの家具と

マッドブリックの暖かい壁が良く似合い、凄く居心地が良くて

快適でした：）

オーナーも犬が大好きで以前はブリーダーをしていたそう。

Tassie-Day 2: Port Sorell beach - Driving to East coast

We stayed at Port Sorell's self contained cottage. This cottage was only one that could stay with Dogs in this area - but it turned out really nice. 
Only took us about 15min from Ferry port in Devonport, and owner provided us a list of Dog off lead beaches in this area! very helpful :) 
Beach was just beautiful!! we spend morning 2 hours on the beach walkin at first day in Tasmania ! How beautiful is this sky! 
After the beach fun, We moved to East Coast- which was quite distance driving from North! 
初日はフェリーの到着が夜の7時だったのでフェリーポートから15分程の地域、Port Sorrellのコテージに泊まりました。ここの地域でドッグフレンドリーな宿泊先はここだけ！！でした。。pet連れの場合は+$25、結局寝ただけだったのに高い宿泊先となりましたが、 
でも凄く奇麗で場所も良く、オーナーさんも凄く親切、オフリードOKのビーチもリストにしてあり、本当に助かりました。朝食やミルクも頂きリラックス出来ました。
タスマニアの初日は朝早起きして2時間ゆっくりビーチを散歩！ 
空が本当に奇麗、、琴とニアも大はしゃぎ！
チェックアウトをして、いざEast Coastまで一気に向います。
車では約3時間半程かかるよていでしたが、途中でポートソレルのベイにあった
古い船を見たり、滝を見たくて山添いのコースを辿ったので　次の宿泊先へ着いたのは
夕方の5時でした！

Tassie-Day 1: Spirit of Tasmania dog kennel-

I never expected this trip will be this amazing!! We have been here in tasmania for one week now and I'm in love with every moment, everywhere every place we go- truly beautiful and spectacular landscapes.

Day 1: I was a little emotional and worried if Koto and Niah will be okay at spirit of Tasmania (ferry)'s kennel. But Kennel was really clean and had a lots of ventilation and lights. They were barking and howling for awhile but got very quiet soon :) 
Ferry took about 12 hrs from North Melbourne port but was smooth and I didn't get much sea sickness! Unfortunately, we were lined in the end of que to get out of ferry, the last car who could get out of the quarantine, which made us to wait for over one hour.. it was a bit painful!

タスマニア1日目はフェリー12時間 。揺れる事もあまりなくスムーズな船の旅でした。でも12時間の間,犬達は大丈夫か凄く気掛かりだったのですがケンネルは清潔で十分な水もあるしと空気が通る場所に設置されていたので安心出来ました。もちろん二匹は初めはかなり吠えたり遠吠えしてましたがすぐにおさまりました^_^
船が苦手な私も船酔いすることもなく無事に到着！でも船から降りる際、タスマニアには税関があるのですが、（食品等一切持ち込み禁止がされています）ゲートを出たのは最後の最後、、フェリーが到着して1時間待ちました。。

We are off to Tasmania for big hiking trip from tomorrow til 21st!

Koto & Niah? Of cause, they are coming with us :)

Just 10 hours of ferry- it could be tough.. but worth it! 

明日からタスマニアに10日間の旅行に行ってきます〜

ずっと行ってみたかったタスマニア！楽しみだぁ

フェリーで車ものせていくのて もちろん琴とニアも連れて行きます。

10時間フェリーのケンネルで待機となるけど大丈夫でしょう！　行ってきます：）

Jumping practice

 Ann Croft is updating jumping excercise on her facebook page every wednesday.
It is great exercise and I have been enjoying watching videos and playing with my dogs. This was from 30th Jan, I actually mis-read the map :P
11 is wrong side- but using push was more difficult and I enjoyed variation of push to threadle :) Love running with Koto!
Ann Croftさんが毎週水曜日に彼女のFBページにアップしているハッピーハードルエクササイズが凄くいい練習コースで毎週ビデオを見て私も練習しています。
このビデオは1月30日のコース。マップをしっかり見てなくて11番を間違って
裏飛びしています。でもお陰で面白い練習が出来ました：）
ニアはバーを落とすので先に進めませんが　琴とのジャンピングは楽しい〜！

Tunnel Bags no.2

 手作りのトンネルバッグ2号！
これは完全にリサイクル素材だけで作ったのでコストゼロ。
手提げの部分をとめるベルトも作ったのであとは砂を入れるのみ。
なのに、、砂が売り切れ中〜〜
These tunnel bags are made from 100% recycled materials- that we
found on the street.
it was hard materials to saw but very durable and looks good
with blue tunnel, It's ready to use, we just need to fill sand
but sand are out of stock from the shops!!

Garden update Jan-2013

最近の庭ですが、何が変わったか解りますか？

This is the most recent backyard photo, can you tell what's different?

 雨不足で芝が酷い状態ですが、芝ではなくて、、

そうなんです！真ん中にあった木をとうとう切り倒して

根っこも掘り起こして、そこに芝を植えたのです。

この写真に見える2つのパッチは芝を植えた所。

手前のパッチはクローバーに占領された芝を回復させるため

クローバーだけを手で根っこから抜いた後です。

we finally cut the tree which was in the middle of the garden, then plant

grass there. We also pull out crover's root.

 広くなった！

a little bit more spacious!

 そして残るはど真ん中にどーんと構える物干し竿。。

こちらも近いうちにどうにか切って移動するつもり。

（とはいってもメタルをコンクリートで固定しています）

飛び石のように敷かれているコンクリートの

フットパスも 現在は芝を上からどんどん伸ばしているの最中です。

We want to cut down cloth line too. 

Grass is taking over concrete foot steps to clothline.

We will cut this down and move somewhere..
