Architecture of Shanghai world expo

元クラスメイトだったベトナム人の友人Hungが上海で行なわれている世界万博へ行った際の写真。彼は本当に素晴らしいフォトグラファー！素晴らしかったのでここでもシェアさせてもらいます♪有り難う。それにしてもまるでUFO!! 巨大あみでUFOを捕まえる瞬間！のように見えるのは私だけでしょうか？？ インテリアもアーキテクチャーも未来モダン。形、素材、照明　今の時代はこんなデザインを実際に形にできてしまうんですね。

Melbourne Architecture

メルボルンの建築は本当に複雑でまぶしい程の原色が多く使われている。
この建物を見て生活していると、現代建築とは本当はどう有るべきで何がメルボルン市民に　このように複雑でグラマラスなデザインを求めさせているのかをよく考える。　今の私の答えはこの国の若さ（歴史がない事）とデザイナー達の生まれ育った郊外生活とのギャップがこんな変形を造り出しているのかなっと思う。
Melbourne's Buildings are very complex and colourful. Always make me think about what is contemporary, Modern Architecture?
What is making people eager to be different to other city or to be glamour? So far, I have been understanding these design are coming from young country's histry and the gap (difference) from suburban city.

大好きなイギリスのテレビ番組のGrand Designsで目にしたリサイクルエコハウス。
エコビルディングコンサルタントという職業の人が建てた出来るだけ多くのリサイクル材使った南メキシコ風のコテージ。
廃棄のタイヤのから作られた壁、リサイクルプラスティックの断熱材、雨水タンクとソーラーパネルを使った床暖房、瓶の底をガラスの代わりに
使った壁　南向きの大きな窓、素材の良さを出し夏は涼しく冬は温かい,快適で経済的なサステイナブルリビングスタイルを完全に達成している。
素晴らしいです。

The National Art center of Tokyo

Hitoshi Nomura-PERCEPTIONS―CHANGES IN TIME AND FIELD.It was amazing exhibition!! He introduced new vision of earth phenomena, moon, sky, space and DNA. He discovered that the courses followed by the sun or moon create beautiful shapes of MUGEN (shapes of eight, like this picture) and was attracted by the wonder of the fact that the light that reaches us from the Milky Way actually dates back to a time when plants that are now fossils, were still alive. He was data mania and he took photography of moon every day and made moon score out of moon's movement then convert to very interesting music. He uses photography, video, and sound to proof his research. very effective.

明日1年半ぶりに帰国します。今回の旅で一番楽しみにしてるのが西新宿の新しい東京モード学院。私の一番尊敬する日本の建築士丹下健三氏が亡くなった後、彼の息子さんによる初の高層ビルプロジェクト。こんなビルが西新宿にあるなんて！まだ想像できないので本当に楽しみだ。何度見てもため息のでる大好きな代々木国立競技場も見に行こう。 その他にもいくつか見たいビルが沢山ある。東京♪
Yes! I am leaving melbourne tomorrow morning. and I am so excited to see new Tokyo Mode gakuin!! It's 204-metre, 50-story educational facility(fashion, hair design, etc) located in the Nishi Shinjuku, designed by my favorite and most respectable architect Mr. Tange's son. White aluminum and dark blue glass exterior form the structure's curved shell, which is criss-crossed by a web of white diagonal lines earning it the name "Cocoon Tower".　I must go back to see Yoyogi gymnasium too! this is one of my favorite buildings in Tokyo. there are thousasnds of amazing architecture in tokyo! Can't wait to see them again.

車でサウスバンクを走っていて目に飛び込んで来た建物。新しいビルで　推測ではVictorian College of Artの一部ではないかと思う。とにかく難しい造りだ。是非ビルの中も見てみたい。少し伊藤豊雄の建築に似てませんか？

what a complicated building!It's located on southbank in melbourne city, it's was quite eye catching and stanning from the distance. I haven't been inside of the building and don't what is this building for. I assume its a part of Victorian college of Art.　Reminds me Toyo Ito's building a bit..
