Sweet and Bitter

先週の金曜、友人の誕生日パーティの為キムチ鍋をつくりに行った。10人分の鍋となるとかなりの量でカニ(Blue Swimmer Crab)を２匹丸ごとだしに使ったが本当に良い味が出て美味しかった。魚やエビ、旬の野菜を沢山入れて３回鍋を作ったが十分だったし大好評だった。友人のダン君がデザートに小麦粉を使わないしっとりチョコレートケーキも作ってくれて　美味しくて楽しい夜だった。
だがその後みんなでSt.Kildaまで1時間掛けてトラムにのりIsoleeを聞きに夜遊びに出かけてしまったのだが、これがダサイ音悪いうるさい！一気にフロアから人が引いて、私達も1時間程で直ぐにがっかりして帰った。楽しい夜から一気に転倒。オーストラリアのクラブは本当にダメだ。気をつけないと。
Last friday night, we had Nabe party at K&J's house. I cooked Kimchi&Miso-Nabe with Crab stock for 10 people. It was big effort but was turned out great. We made stock from blue swimmer crab, big fish and prowns, and various vegies and fish cakes. I made 3xbig Nabe!! but we still had enough food in the end. Warm soup Nabe is always great party food in the winter.　Dan also made an amazing flourless chocolate cake that we felt in love! It was funtastic yammy night. But afterall, we went out to see Isolee at St.Kilda, but hey, it was the worst-nasty 90's house with loud-terrible PA. Very bad sence of music and was too expensive for this ugly night out.. Its always difficult to find good night out here. Yummy night turned to bitter after taste. I learned, and won't do it again.

Organic food Weed

少し前の話になるが、大分の九重町、飯田高原ですてきなオーガニックレストラン＆ギャラリー ”weed”に姉に連れて行ってもらった。お店のインテリアもギャラリーの商品もオーナーも温かく柔らかい雰囲気で姉と姉のワンコ達と凄く良い時間が過ごせた。自家製無農薬野菜がたっぷり入った玄米のパエリア、夏野菜たっぷりのスープに温野菜のサラダがセットになったランチを食べたが本当に美味しかった。新緑の山々に囲まれた高原で食べるランチは本当に最高、次に帰って時もまた行きたい。

It's awhile ago's story, I went to very pretty and relaxing restaurant in Ooita-Kujyu-kogen called Organic restauratn and garally "weed" with my sister and her dogs. Full of warmth at the shop and garally's interior, big windows and lots of natural sunlights, surounded by green layers of mountains, I ate a set of organic vegitables with Genmai-rice paellier and soup and warm vegie salada. It was really yummy and would love to go back again. I was happy to discover the great restaurant in Ooita!

エコビルディングコンサルタントという職業の人が建てた出来るだけ多くのリサイクル材使った南メキシコ風のコテージ。
廃棄のタイヤのから作られた壁、リサイクルプラスティックの断熱材、雨水タンクとソーラーパネルを使った床暖房、瓶の底をガラスの代わりに
使った壁　南向きの大きな窓、素材の良さを出し夏は涼しく冬は温かい,快適で経済的なサステイナブルリビングスタイルを完全に達成している。

Yellow season 2

久しぶりのブッシュウォーキングに行った。
８月はこちらの冬最後の月、春の気配を感じて色々な花が咲き始め、森の中は黄色に染まっていた！近くの公園、Darebin Parkもとにかく花で一杯！
ここはOff Lead OKの公園なのでKotoも大喜び！気持ちのいい週末だった。
August is the last month of the winter here. We went to bush walking on Sunday at dandenong ranges, the seanic has completely changed to early spring, there were full of flower in the bush. We also went to Darebin park where Koto always get excited to run and going throw the flowers and creek. It was beautiful day with full of cheerful yellow!

Super Ball Girl

今日は17度と少し温かかったので　午前中オビィディエンススクールに行った後、午後は久々にテニスをした。琴はテニスがたまらなく大好きだから、1時間の集中特訓の後には最高のご褒美である。 あの素早くラケットを振る動きが溜まらないうえ、それに加えて大好きなテニスボールが飛んでくる！フォールになったボールを猛スピードで拾いに行き、持って来くるいわゆる球拾いをしてくれる。こちらとしても便利なのでコート内に居させているが、難点はテニスボールがよだれでどんどんベタベタになり、水分を含んでしまったボールは全然バウンスしない。だから　結局私達はテニスが思うように楽しめないのである。
雨が振って来て　そんなこんなで上手くテニスを楽しめなかったので、気を取り直してWiiでテニスを室内でやってみた。　
しかし、琴は全く同じ反応で　ラケットを振る瞬間に大興奮！ボールが飛んでこなくても　あのボールの跳ねる音とラケットを振る動作に反応しまくりだった。すべてのボーダーコリーはこんな調子なのだろうか？

We played tennis this afternoon after the obedience school, it was great treat for koto after all one hour of strict discipline because of she just loves tennis so much! She loves the movement of swinging a tennis racket and also she can chase the ball too. She usually picks up failed balls and bring it back to us, so its quite convenient and make our game more smooth but at the same time, tennis ball will became slobbery and started to get wet-heavy, make it hard to bounce. We stopped playing because of the rain, but continued to play Wii tennis at home. She reacted exactly the same as she was at tennis coat!

Justice for Buckley

目を背けられないような悲惨なニュース。
生後８週間のボーダーコリーとスタッフォードテリアのmix、バックリー君が精神異常の化け物に耳としっぽをはさみで切りとられた。
この事件を起こした３２歳の化け物は保留されているだけで、精神異常の為逮捕はされていない。２００７年に改正された法律に寄ると動物虐待の罪にはなんとたった最高１２ヶ月だけの罪、もしくは罰金が化せられるとなっているが　さらに驚く事に今までに４ヶ月以上の罪が化せられたケースはないそうだ。
昨年、QLDでフォックステリアのピーナッツ君の事件があったばかりなだけ、なんともやるせない。（ピーナッツ君も同様、異常な若者達に暇つぶし？何が目的だったのかなんて考えたくもないが、鼻、足を切断せれた後最後にはめったざしにされ殺された、でも罪は化されていない）
動物だからって　なんで罪にならないの？完全に精神異常者のする事です。
生後８週間と言えば立ち耳になる犬であっても大きな耳は垂れ下がっていて、とにかく生涯で一番可愛い時期である。そんな無防備な子犬に虐待の出来る人間って？感情はないの？動物虐待に関しての事件には本当に同じ人間としていつも腹ただしく、情けなくそして無情に悲しくなる。早くバックリー君に元気になってほしい。

Buckley was found in a schoolyard in the Brimbank area with bleeding ears and a severed tail. His ears and tail had been cut off with scissors or shears. The puppy was taken to a local vet clinic before being transferred to The Lost Dogs' Home.
The current maximum penalty for animal cruelty in Australia is a pathetic 12 months jail, or a fine. The maximum penalty that has ever been handed out is 4 months. This matter needs to be taken more seriously, and the penalties need to be increased.
I am very sad about this news.

sleeping town

日本最後の週末に訪れた　山岳にひっそり残った小さな小さな街。建物の殆どが重要文化財指定されていたが、町の人には殆ど会わず、静かに今でも活気があった頃の姿のまま眠っていた。懐かしいような、なぜか寂しいような。
少しポピュラー化されてしまった侘び寂びという言葉はこういう風景の中から生まれたのだろう。
素晴らしい日本の風景の残るこの街　是非　また以前のような観光地へと復旧してほしいものだ。

The last village I’ve visited in japan, It was located in the high land of the mountains with absolutely beautiful Japanese traditional buildings.
The Most of the buildings were national heritage listed.
There were 10 Ryokans and 1 restaurant, but there were nothing open and eventhough didn't see people who live around here. It seems like the time has stopped when this village was thrive on tourism and all ryo-kan crowded with customers from all over the Japan. I found the word of wabi-sabi in this little town, which became popular word in world wide. I hope this village shall flourish again as an old time.

17th month

Kotoは先週のオビディエンステストをらくらくパス！テスト中の彼女の集中力,アイコンタクトはパーフェクト！コマンドの反応もすごく速い。
４ヶ月前に今のスクールに変えて毎月必ずレベルアップしている。このスクールにはボーダー飼いの先生が沢山いて心強いし、進歩がよく見えて　本当に嬉しいこのごろ。だが私生活では相変わらず次々と別の問題が浮上してくる。
今は他の犬への威嚇や吠え癖、それから自転車を追いかけてしまう癖を直すので必死だ。特に自転車の癖は早く直さないと又事故にでも合ったら大変だ。ロングリードを使って呼び戻しの徹底練習、それから社会科勉強の為他の犬と慣れさせる練習などなど。牧羊犬らしくいてほしい傍ら、やはり都会で生活する為早く落ち着いて欲しい。ハイパー犬育て、相変わらず毎日必死です。

Koto pass the obedience level test on Saturday! She was very calm during the test and did all command very well. We were very happy! She is improving so quickly and her concentration,eye contact, and recactionto all commands are very good.
But we have some other issues that is always comes up to us, we needs to work on more than school lessons during the weekdays.
Recently she started show her aggression to dogs, which is coming out from her fear to dogs and she still chase the bicycles, her herding natrue make her wanna chase anything move fast.
This is the worst and most dengerous habit she has at the moment. it has to fix urgently.
I have been concentrating to teach focus on my command when the high speed bikes pass through on the busy time of the day with lots of treats. We are also doing strict on-leash recall practice at the park. Hope she will be a bit more calm dog some time soon.

Just Dreaming..

Melbourneの住宅状況は酷い。そんなに大都会でもなく、こんなに不景気な世の中なのに ここの住宅価値はまるで関東、いや東京の地価に匹敵するのではないか？殆どの古い家が国家遺産として登録されており、リノベーションするとしても建物前方とベースは残さなければならない。にも関わらず家の数が需要よりも随分少ない為、街から近くの郊外に住む殆どの人が莫大な費用でリノベーションしなければならないような家を買う人が多い。メルボルンで家を買うなんて夢の又夢の様な話である。というよりも欲しい家なんて見つからない状態。

今日は時間があって、なんとなく不動産やのホームページを見ていたら、その、夢のような理想的な家を見た。いや、この家は少し年老いてしまった夫婦には段差が多く、窓が多くてかなり住みにくくて、込入ったややこしい設計になってるが、見事！私は大好き！！こんな温かい家久しぶりに発見した。 緑と自然に囲まれて、おまけに直ぐ近くにヤラ川、巨大な公園、ゴルフ場　そしてかなり静かな高級住宅地にあるのにシティまで車で１５分程度。
値段は土地が高級住宅街のヤラ河のそばなだけ日本円にして１億４千万円以上だって〜。それにしても高いなぁ。

i found my dream house in Kew when I was browsing domain today. Multi-levels over the natural landscape and natural sunlights.
I am pretty sure that there are many bell birds and wild life near by so that Garden and sun decking will be full of bird sounds, there is out-side studio space with bathroom and shower. Overall looking is Very relaxing space with warmth timber.
Huge Main bed room has big windows with walk in robe... What a dream house. $1,450.000 Plus!! wow...

We saw an amazing Kimono textile at the state of Design festival on Sunday.
It was wonderful to see that Australian designer can make such a beautiful contemporary kimono pattern! very elegant and would be wonderful to play with obi and other accessories.
