Garden update

新しい家に引っ越して3ヶ月過ぎました！
以前住んでいた人に置いて行かれた植物です。あまりいい状態ではなかったのですが

肥料とお水をあげたら、この2ヶ月間　

毎朝奇麗な紫の花が咲いています

キッチンの窓から沢山の花が見えるのって良いですね♩

It has been already 3 month since we moved in to our new house! 
Previous tenant left behind those plants on out fence. 

It was not looking healthy at all, but since we fertilized,

Flowers start blooming every single morning for the last 2 month.

Very rewarding and nice to see flowers/colours from my kitchen window. 

毎年恒例の青シソも沢山出来てきました♩ガーデニングは絶好調です。

We plant Japanese herb Shiso very year, its growing well this year :) 

Other veggies are doing very well too!

以前は長靴でしか歩きたくない様な

努力の成果が出てきてどんどん厚く健康になってきてます。あと少しです♩

Koto's Out & Serp

そしてこちらが琴ちゃんとパートナーの練習風景。

このビデオでもマルチラップをやっているように、

琴はスピードが付くとタイトターンが出来なくなるので

これからもタイトターンがある所で2−3回旋回させなければいけません。

今回はとりあえず新しいコマンドを教えたかったので

次回から。とりあえず凄く楽しい練習でした♩

practice with few multi-wraps on collection que.

最近のニア君との練習風景です。うーーん。。まだまだ練習中です！

でもニア君、ちゃんと私のコマンドをしっかり見て反応してますよね

ターンも凄くタイトだし、いい子！

あとは私です。。ミスは殆ど私のコマンドが遅かったり早く動きすぎのせいですね。

私かなり不自然な動きです〜。。 がに股になったり、腕がぐわんぐわん動いてたり（笑

ニア一緒にがんばります。

ニアのちんたら走りも少し気になりますが、（琴が早過ぎるのかな）

これでもだいぶスピードアップしてると思います（笑

後ろで琴が泣き叫んでいるのでボリューム下げてくださいね。（凄いですよね、

アジリティより更に練習しないといけない事＝セルフコントロール！！

Here is our recent practice of Out, Serpentine and Sequences.

Niah react very well with my body movement and his turn is very tight and nice.

All the mistake is made by me.. and need to improve speed..(well, must be Koto is too fast!) 

but he is speeding up since we started so I am sure that he will speed up once he discover agility is fun game! 

Sorry about Koto screaming in the back ground.  We have tons of work to do for

self control :P They are both very can not wait their turns when other one is running.

ニアには沢山の兄弟がいます。最近ニア母のウインク、叔母のクリーがまた出産したようです。

写真は同体のタラちゃん、それから1つ前のリッターのTCとデュース君。

シドニー、アデレード、カナダ、、と残念ながら誰にも会った事がないのですが。。

TCは大きく見えるのですがニアより小さいようで、体高51cm体重16キロです。男の子のボーダーにしては

小さいですよね、ターラも日本にいるBentenちゃんも12キロないそうです。ニアは53cm位、体重は17.5キロあります。

もの凄く細いのですが、兄弟の中では大きい方だったのですね。

因にTCとTCの姉妹のTeganとはシルビアのクラスで一緒にアジを学んでいます：）

Niah has many siblings, Recently his mum wink and anty Cree got another babies.

It's very exciting to see his siblings doing sheep or agility.

TC looks very alike to niah, 

He looks very tall but only 51cm height 16kg.Niah has nearly 53cm, 17.5kg.
He looks skinny little boy but actually he is tall one!

TC and Tegan(TC's sister) started competing in agility already

and they both won :) They are also learning agility foundation in the same class

at Silvia's online class!  Very lucky to have siblings doing agility as a classmate :)

今週は気を引き締めて在宅の図面の仕事をやっていたのですが、これが珍しく難しい仕事だった為、
集中できず、2時間ごとに30分芝刈りをしたり、犬と遊んだり、家を片付けたり、料理を作ったりと、
充実していた様な、、仕事にならなかったような。。

芝刈り機は手で押すタイプなので凄く良い運動になります。
もちろん犬と遊ぶのもいい運運動です。運動しながら仕事って良いですね

I was doing drafing work this week but this job was a little hard and complicated 
so my concentration didn't last long.. I was worked for 2 hrs, then mowing lawn 
or palying with dogs, or thinking of what to cook for dinner.. 
I felt I did a lot but not much work done~.. 
well, we are actually enjoying mowing lawn a lot and 
its great exercise for sure as playing with dogs.

何度みても凄い〜♩こんなショーを見てしまったらもっと色々な事を教えたくなりますね

犬って本当に賢い動物です。このおじさんと犬の関係は見事です！

I've been repeating to watch this show! it is just incredible! After all understanding how to train tricks,
its really motivate me to teach more stuff to my dogs!  Dogs are clever! and this man has great relationship with all dogs! simply amazing :)

日曜は酷い花粉症に耐えながら椅子にペンキを塗りました！

私の住む地域では日本ではもう見かけない 年に1度の粗大ゴミのシーズンで

この空っぽな大きな庭に合いそうな木で出来た手作りの椅子やスティールの良い型の椅子が近所に捨てられていたので拾って来てリメイクしてみました。

2回洗って、全体にヤスリ、それからペンキを3回塗って、、とかなり時間の掛かる作業でしたが

可愛くなりました♩赤のステップはニアにボロボロに噛まれていたのですが、これも
ヤスリとペンキで奇麗にリメイクできました〜　写真はまだ作業途中です。この椅子にピッタリなテーブルも
拾ったのでまた来週！それから一番嬉しかったのはこのドッグプールにピッタリな巨大な桶！
トレーニングしながらクールダウンできます。
それにしても粗大ゴミですが、、テレビテレビテレビ。。。デジタル放送が始まって一体
どれだけのテレビが世界中で捨てられたのでしょうか。悲しい光景です。
I had the worst hay fever day in this year but did painting outside all day on Sunday. 
We found few nice chairs on hard rubbish in my neighbours and did re-make with sanding down and paint them.  It was long process but I am very happy with our effort and re-cycled something we can still use and made less rubbish! We also found very cute out door table and huge plastic bucket that is perfect for dog pool! 
Our garden is still feels empty but slowly getting better! 

Niah weave 10cm apart

今晩のスラ練です。 シルビアに進められたように10cmポールを開いてみました。

凄くスムーズになりましたよね：）エントリーのあたりは両足で踏み込むのですが、

後はほとんどシングルステップでした。（琴がうるさくてごめんなさい）

Here is Niah doing weave with 10cm apart poles. 

Silvia recommended to separate poles so that he can run through between poles, using single front legs, like swimming through the poles. 

He was already so much better tonight and used mostly single steps! but still using double steps in entry. （excuse Koto being a barker in behind!)

学校が全て終了しました。今回のデザインスタジオは凄くやりがいのある課題で本当に勉強になりました。素晴らしい熱心な教師と生徒達に会えて本当に楽しかった！

さて、これから雨も少なくなるのでアジの練習が沢山できそう♩

先日アップした琴とニアのビデオですが、シルビアのコメントは

シングルステップにするためまずは10cmポールを広げる事！でした。

ポールの間を片足づつで走り抜けれる様になったら

3cmづつのペースで徐々にポールを狭めていきます。

琴とニアは学校でクラスに2x2が取り組まれているため2x2でスラノームを教えたのですが、

現在の状態はニアはシングルステップ（前片足）とダブルステップ（前足両方）を混ぜ合わせた状態です。琴は圧倒的にダブルステップの方が多いです。　

チャンネルでポールを狭めて行くの教え方だと犬はポールの中央を走り抜ける事を覚えるのですが、2x2だとエントリーの理解は良いのですが、ダブルステップでポールとポールを抜ける犬が多くなるそうです。小型犬等はダブルステップでもポールとの幅が広いのでさほどの

負担はかかりませんが、ニアくらいの体高だとダブルステップの方が身体に負担が多い様です。勉強になりました〜！

より自然な動き、シングルステップにするため週末また練習します。

Koto's weave comparison

一瞬のビデオですが琴のスラを違う角度から比べてみました。

12本のスラって3秒間だけなのですね。ニアはもう少し遅い気がします。

琴は常に猛スピードなのでエントリーはニアよりも少し間違えやすいのですが

随分良い調子になってきましたよ！

She makes entries mistake more than Niah because of this speed.. but 

She is really good so far!

（引っ張りっこと移動、休憩以外は殆ど編集はしてませんが動きにも慣れてきた様子、

スピードも付いて来たしエントリーはいい感じ！頑張ってますよね：）

最近ずっと忙しかったので日課の1時間ののんびり散歩が出来ない日が多かったのですが、

そのかわり色々な新しいトリックを教えましたよ♩

トリックは1匹につき5−10分、2匹でも20分もかからない、いつでもどこでも出来るのでいいですね♩

During my busy days, I couldn't take my dogs to daily long walks.. but I taught many new tricks! 
Teaching tricks is very good and fun, it only takes 5-10min in one session, even teaching two dogs, its 20 min!

ご無沙汰してます。今日　ファイナルプレゼンテーションがとうとう終わりました！
この1週間程毎日3−4時間しか寝ないで必死に頑張ったのでプレゼンもデザインも
満足出来るものに仕上がりました。先生やゲストパネルも良い評価をくれたので本当に一安心。
とりあえず今日は一杯寝よう〜。
あと1週間で全てのセメスターが終わるのでこれからは一杯アジリティ出来きます♩
2匹とも12ポールのスラノーム出来るようになったので週末ビデオにとってアップします！


Long time no update! I just finished my final presentation and I am VERY HAPPY! the last 3 days, I only had 3-4hrs sleep every night... 
I have a lot of sleep to catch up! My final design and presentation went very well and I had a very good feedbacks.
I have one more assesment in one week then I will have a lot of time to play with dogs;)

学校の学期末で課題に追われている毎日ですが、琴もニアも元気です♩

今日は初めてニアと公園で12本のスラノームに挑戦！大好きなスカンクにボールを付けたオモチャをご褒美に投げていたのですが、

暑いのに凄い勢いで走ってくれて楽々12本できました！

ハンドラーの動きを変える、環境を変える、ディストラクションを増やす、この順序で練習中です。琴も12本マスターしたようですね♩ただスピードが付きすぎると途中で出てしまう事があります。。

新しい家に引っ越してから外で遊んだ後は自分で足を洗ってもらっています。

I have been quite busy for finishing my assignment, but  Koto and Niah are good as usual.

I did 12 weave pole practice first time at the park with Niah tonight, and he was really good and getting faster!

I have been doing 6x6 poles, now changing to my position-different environment-adding distraction.

He still needs to practice but doing really good so far!  Koto is already master 12 poles!  
But once she gets too much speed, she often pop out.. 

Anyways, here is Koto&Niah washing their paws on their own after playing out side ;)

Bad day...

課題提出に追われて本当に忙しい中、午前中オビのテストに行ったのですが、

一番得意なヒールのテスト中にふらふらと走り出し、そのままうんP。
終わったらすっきりしたのかそのまま走り続ける。

不合格。帰ってすぐに課題にとりかかった為　ハーネスを取り外すのを忘れて,
 ハーネスをまっぷたつにしてくれました。 アメリカから取り寄せに6週間もかかったのに。。

その後、カーペットを噛み、大きな穴が。。それにコーヒーテーブルまで噛み砕いていました。

私のミスが殆どなのは解っているのですが。。早く成長してほしい〜

そろそろニアがうちの子になってから1年。まだまだパピーです！

I've been very  busy, final assessment is due in few weeks, plus I have exhibition in next week,

Niah failed Obedience test this morning because running off during heeling walking, (the most easiest and the great one for him) then poop, then he must felt very good and decided to keep running :)

When we come home, I forgot to took his brand new and great agility harness off (ordered from America, took 6 weeks to receive) , he completely chew up, torn in to 2 pieces.!!

He also chew up carpet and made a big hole and big damage on coffee table tonight..

I know there were many mistakes that I should have done, but hey, please.. time to stop chewing ~

メルボルンには春がやってきています。家は満開の花に囲まれ、犬達は毎日庭で楽しそう。ついに2匹とも6本のスラノームが出来る様になりましたよ

でも私は課題に悪戦苦闘中、さらに花粉症でもう大変。あと1ヶ月。。はやく終わって欲しい〜

クリーンランからハーネスがやっと届きました。アジに最適ですが、持ち手についてる輪がクリップにあたって
少しうるさいです。でもそれ以外は大満足！それにしてもニアくん、鼻焼けてますね。。
外出する際は日焼け止めをつけてあげないとですね。。

training diary

先週末から今週にかけてのトレーニングです。
サイドからのストレートジャンプのサーペンティンはかなり練習しているのですが、

なかなか私のコマンドが追いつかない状態で、問題は私！

ニアは凄く良くなって来ています。楽しそうに走ってくれてるのをみるのが嬉しいですね

2x2とシーソーもやる気も自信も付いたようていい感じ。
今週は2x2をストレートからー6本にしてみるつもりです。
それからシルビアのクラスはリピートクラスを申し込みしました！
最後のレッスンには追いつけませんでしたがアジリティの楽しさを本当に教えてくれる
素晴らしいクラスなので継続して次のクラスではコンタクト、スラ、シーケンスを中心に頑張ります。
training diary videos from last weekend to this week day. Serpentine has been very difficult one for me,
because my cue is always late! Niah is doing very good but someone has to practice is ME;)
2x2 and teeter is getting better too! We will make poles straight this week and add another set of 
2 poles. Also I decided to repeat Silva's class.  It is such a great class and all I have been learning is 
how fun is training dog and agility!  I will be focus on running contact, weave, and sequences this time!

まだ随分荒れていますが、庭が随分広くなってきました！

始めの写真は庭の一番奥のフェンス。草むら化していたのですが、

木をカットして雑草を抜いて、トランポリンもあげて

奇麗に剪定しただけで3メートル以上広がりました。

そして今2番目の写真の左側にある倉庫をここに移動したのと、

左側の巨大な丸い植物を完全に掘り起こしました。

この下にも芝を植えるので　かなり広くなりそうです。

芝はまだまだ酷い状態ですが、随分生えて来ています。夏までには

いい状態にできそうです！

仕事や課題の合間に休憩がてらにできる庭でのトレーニング！いいですね〜

Still have a lot more to do in our garden, but it is getting bigger and bigger!

Dean cleared bush around trampoline, cut off tree branches, that made the yard 3m bigger!

We moved shed on 2nd picture and cut this huge plant, sitting in the middle of the yard.

we must wait till the grass gets better condition so we will fence off this area to protect 

from dogs running and destryoing grass.  It will be a great back yard real soon! 

maybe before summer!  It is so good to have access to equipment to train our dogs 

whenever I can~ how lucky us!!

今日はアジの特訓。。と思っていたのですがあまりにも天気が良かったので

家中の窓を開けて残りの片付けを始めたら、止まらない。。

家中に転がっていた引っ越しの段ボールを全て開けてやっと全部片付け終了！

朝はニアのオビの学校に久々に行ったらニアくん、コマンド完璧でした♩
久しぶりにテスト受けようかな。午後は片付けの休憩がてらに

トンネル1つだけやジャンプ一つだけを使った練習や

シルビアのクラスのレッスン1−2をリピートしてみたり、徹底的にファンデーションの日にしました。

琴もニアもステイが凄く強くなったのと集中力がグンと上がったので大満足！

いつでも庭で練習できるのが本当に嬉しい！

I was going to do a lot of Silvia's training today, but changed my mind!

Time to organize the boxes! Everything is nearly sorted today! 

We finally spend some time to clean up all the things sitting on the floor, 

No more boxes!! 

But I took Niah to obedience and did foundation practices and repeat lesson 1-2 between the cleaning.

I only used one tunnel, or one jump, or combination of those two. 

Niah, Koto, They both improved  stay and obstacle focus a lot today;)

How great is that I can practice whenever I want!

シルビアのレッスンを一緒に受けているデンマークのシェルティーのGitte。
ニアと殆ど同じ誕生日なのに雲泥の差です、、
もちろんハンドラーさんはアジの経験が長いので比べても仕方が無いのですが、彼女のレッスンとシルビアのコメントはかなり勉強になります。
いつでも振り返って見れるのでここにビデオを貼付けさせてもらいます。（笑

私がどんな練習をしようとしているのか少し解るかと思います；）今週末も頑張ります。

Daily relaxing moment

まだ手つかずですが、うちの裏です。
カラーという花が満開です。ここに見える窓はベットルームとバスルーム、キッチンの一部ですが、どの部屋の窓から外を覗いてもこの満開の真っ白なカラーの花が見えて本当に奇麗。毎朝ブラインドを開けるのが楽しみです♩
We haven't done any gardening here, but beside the bedroom and kitchen windows are full of flower called Colour (not sure spelling..) It is so nice to look out from the window!! Beautiful :)

Recent Training with Niah!-Serpentine-

インターネットがやっと繋がりました♩
これで日本語が打てます！それからニアの去勢の傷跡も完治。
やっと溜まりに溜まったアジの練習開始です。
シルビアのクラスはただいまレッスン5、引っ越しと手術の為　私はまだレッスン3−4をやってるのですが、どんどん難しくなって来ています。。
でもニア君はよくこんな私に付いて来てくれてます。
障害物をこなしながら私を追いかける事＝引っ張りっこ！
定着してきました。小さいステップですが最近のビデオです。
（レッスン4はSerpentine,,まだ始めたばかりですがハンドリングに対するコメント頂けたら嬉しいです）


Yay! We've got internet connection again!! and Niah is fully recovered from Desex.
We are finally back in training.. but very far behind from Silvia's classes, a lot of training!
All these videos are not finished.. still working on them but Niah's motivation to obstacle is 
getting better and better every sequence and I am proud of him!

(Kyo-wa, Nihongo kinou no nai PC kara desu. Eigo dakede suimasen) Out house is still very messy, No-internet, School is getting busier, and Agility foundation class is getting more and more difficult and we are far behind...but I have bright Sunroom and entry area where I can deeply relax, look out my front and backyard and read paper, books and magagines with my dogs.

嵐のような 引越しが終わって一週間が過ぎましたが、なんとまだインターネットが繋がっていません。
学校は一週間休みだったので良かったのですが、物事がスムーズに行かないオーストラリアです。


琴ニアは元気です！新し家も庭も近所の公園も気に入ったよう。
でも新しいルールにニアは怒れっぱなしです。
琴に新しい室内フリスビーを買ってあげました。モリーから貰ったこのフリスビーが
本当に大好きでこんな形になっても一番のおきにいりです。


It has been more than one week since we moved to new house but still
No Internet connection. it is frustrating!!
We are loving the new house but still has so much to do.
The best moment is waking up with birds singing, sleeping with sound of frog, or wind,
No more traffic, huge track noise and drunk young kids screeming :)
Dogs are just happy to have own backyard!  Niah has been very naughty.
He is almost back in puppy.  New environment, New Behaivor.  
well hopefully he will learn quickly.

Gardening

昨日ニアの去勢の手術とヒップのレントゲンが無事に終わりました。。

（手術の結果をブリーダーに届けてニアは正式にうちの子となる契約です）

ニア君。痛みももちろんあるのですが、先日から失望のどん底。。って顔をしてます。

しかも先日夜中に起きて傷口を舐め始めたので付けるつもりはなかったエリザベスカラー装着中、歩くたびに壁や物に頭をぶつけてます。まるでヒゲをきられた猫みたいにバランス感覚ゼロ。がんばれ！

そして今週末は引っ越しです。大きな庭ですが、メルボは今年かなり雨が多かったせいで芝が酷い状態です。地面もドロドロ状態。。先週は除草剤をまいて芝の状態を良くする為にフォークのような機会で庭全体にちいさな穴を開けて空気が通る様に2日かけて作業をしました。 土の酸性アルカリ性を検査して野菜ガーデンを作る最適な場所や犬のトイレの場所も決めました。健康な芝を作るためがんばっています。。庭って思っていた以上に大変です〜。。家よりも庭で選んでしまいましたが、頑張ります〜♪

Poor Niah, He had a Desex yesterday, and he looks like the saddest dog in the world.  He started to lick wound a lot last night so we put corn collar on him.  Pretty funny(sad) to see dog with collar, he is hitting his head every single wall and objects when he walks.. (Koto did never hit her head like him!) He looks like a cat without Whiskers, totally lost his control! hanging there Niah Bo!

Another thing that we are struggling is our new garden.. We are finally moving to new house this weekend but we have been gardening for a week.  Currently the backyard is very wet and as soon as dog run, it become a terrible-muddy pit. Grass is very bad condition and not looked after for such a long time.  
We've been working to kill weeds and trying to grow grass.  Huge space to work on, and sure it's not a easy job!

but we choose the house because of this spacious backyard to play with dog.  Takes awhile but we believes it will be very good soon :)
