九州はまだ大雨が続いているようですが、早く

落ち着いた夏が来ます様に。。

昨年久住を訪れた際の写真

 

Shibitachi town planning -study and presentation-

東京理科大の生徒と一緒に鮪立町づくりの設計中。

住人のみなさんの前でプレセンテーション、

皆さんの意見を伺っています

 理科大のみんなのプレゼンを

オージーチームと一緒に聞きに行く途中で見た景色

 住人から話を聞いてチーズケーキまでをごちそうになりました。

この釜は先祖代々から受けづいできたそうで　火をいれないと

さびてしまうので　170年間毎日火を焚いているそうです。 

震災の際もこの釜で沢山の人の食料を作ったそうです。

そして公民館で住人の前で行なった
オージーランドスケープアーキテクト＆日本建築学科
合同の津波復興まちづくりの提案発表会。

住人の方にもかなり喜んで頂き大成功でした！

この後勉強会と発表会は引き続き東京でも行なわれました。
そしてこれからメルボルンでも引き続きいての課題となります 

Japan Trip -Shibitachi, Karakuwa Hantou-

 

This little beautiful village was our "Recovery planning site"

called Shibitachi, in Karakuwa peninsula, Iwate

Tsunami came up to 12meter above sea level and washed out

most of the bay area's houses, fishing boats, and buildings.

This recovery project has been on going by Tokyo University of Science, 

Architecture students, our school RMIT, school of architecture has

joined their project to prepare for the main harbor area planning with them. 

今回の日本の旅の目的地は宮城県気仙沼市唐桑町鮪立という小さな

津波被害にあった漁村集落。復興町づくりの提案をするため

ランドスケープ科建築科の修士を勉強中のオーストラリアの仲間と共に

町を見て回り、町の人から色々なお話を聞きました。

東京理科大学の生徒達が既に進めて来たプロジェクトに参加して

理科大生徒と合同での町づくり提案会です。

まず、1日目は町を歩いて見て回り、話を聞いてきました。

Japan Trip - Kesennuma-

Still strong scars everywhere, but mostly cleaned, 

and felt powerful re-covery energy everywhere,

and reconstruction is just about to start.

311の津波から1年3ヶ月後の気仙沼の様子を見てきました。

まだ傷跡が痛々しくも残るものの、

瓦礫が奇麗に片付いているのに本当に驚きました。

それから頑張ってる人々の素晴らしいパワーを

あらゆる場所で感じました。

復興に向けての再建はようやく始まろうとしています。

Japan -Kyushu Oita-

I'm finally back home from Japan. 

It was just great experience, I could finally visualised how is reconstruction going in Tohoku area after Tsunami. 

I could revisit my hometown and see my family. 

I could see my old friends in Tokyo. 

Full of stories. but start with some photos of my home town in Kyushu. 

やっと3週間の日本の旅から帰ってきました。

そしてやっと東北の人々と話をして復興状況を目にする事が出来ました。

それから実家に帰って家族とゆっくりしたり、

3年間会えなかった東京の友達と会えたり。

色々な事の詰まった3週間でしたが、まずは九州までの道のりと
田舎での緩い穏やかな時間の写真から。

Leaving tomorrow!

Finally！！ finished all study of the semester.  
I am happy to finish but I won't be able to relax during the break.
I am going back to Japan with landscape architect and architect students to do travel studio in Tokyo and near Kesennuma, where tsunami hit last year, during whole my semester break. 
pretty exciting and serious project and I am very happy to have this chance to join the group. 
A little sad about I had no-time to do any agility or mountain hiking with dogs.. 
but BCs are all good!

やっと今学期が昨日の最後のフォーリオの提出で終わりました。
終わって良かった、と一息つく間もなく溜まっていた仕事を終えて
明日から日本に出発する事になりました。目的は学校のトラベルスタジオで建築学科のランドスケープアーキテクト、インテリアデザインとアーキテクトの3種の生徒が合流して一緒に東京と気仙沼にて勉強をします。日本で日本の建築をオーストラリアの生徒と先生と一緒に学べるなんて素晴らしいチャンス！
復興に繋がるアイディアを思いっきり出せたらいいなぁ。
本当に面白くなりそう！
でもワンズと遊べなかった。。アジリティは天気が悪かったのと学校が忙しかったので
7週間以上お休みとなってしまいます。ちょっと寂しいけど3週間！頑張りましょう。

Being good

Niah, He surprise me all the time how he can hold anything and stay for such a long time! 

We I went to Camberwell market on Sunday for socialization practice because Saturday Obedience training was raining and although,  I will be away for 3 weeks, no dog training with him for awhile.

There were 1000 of people, very crowded and so many dogs!

but he never react to dogs, always so friendly to everybody, and keep heeling tightly to me.

You are becoming soooo good boy! Mr. Nia!  I am happy mum!

ニアの成長っぷりにいつも驚かされるこのごろですが、

土曜のオビは雨が降っていたのでパスして、日曜の朝人キャンバーウェルフリーマーケットへニアとオビの変わりに行ってきました。

人と犬と物とノイズに溢れたマーケット、でもニアは本当にお利口さん。

どんな人にも犬にも凄くフレンドリーだし、でも必ず私の隣にピタっとくっついて歩いてきたし、本当にいい子に育ってくれて嬉しくなった日曜でした　：）

oh- it was somehow very very stressful and busy semester.

This semester was a bit tricky subjects..

I couldn't enjoy as I much as I normally do, so that is why I am SO HAPPY

to finished!

The most beautiful month of the year

Niah's first trial at Bulla

Here is our very first run at our school Trial from last weekend.
We have got only one qualified, but it was First Place out of 75 dogs!
Very proud of Niah
先週のトライアルのビデオがやっとできました。
結果私の小さなミスでクリーンランは1回しか出来ませんでしたが
75頭中1席は嬉しかった：）
ニアくん頑張ったね！

we did it !!

Yahoo!! We attend to our club's trial, the 1st ever agility trial for us today!
And we were finally qualified in Agility :)
Niah got 1st place in Novice Agility, out of 75 dogs!!!
wow, that was just amazing to have 1st place in 1st ever agility trial:)
Dean and Koto also got 3rd place in Jumping, out of 33 dogs!
I am so proud of both of you Mr. Niah & Koto!

We did 12 hours of working very hard.
I will have a good sleep now, and make video tomorrow :)

本日は初めてのトライアル、そしてなんとニアがアジリティで75頭中1席、琴がジャンピングで3席と素晴らしい結果となりました！頑張ったね〜　
今日は私達の通う学校の主催だったので、セットアップや片付けも手伝だい
なんと12時間労働でした。。疲れた〜でも大満足！
今日はゆっくり休みますのでビデオはまた後日：）

Niah Pass Obedience Level 4 test today,

5 of dogs took Level 4 test, 4 were all labrador retrievers,

and Only Niah did pass!  Not easy test :0

Our very first agility trial debut!

ニア君、今日オビディエンスのレベル4のテストに無事合格しました。

テストを受けた5匹中4匹がニアよりも年上のラブラドール達。

そして合格したのはニア君のみでした。やったー

頑張ったね！

来週の初アジリティトライアルもこの調子でがんばろうね
