weekend craft

写真は週末作った　アジリティのジャンプバーと琴。
琴はこの子供用のトンネルとこのジャンプが大好き。私の手に付いてくる"Follow Me"というコマンドを知っているので簡単にジャンプも教えられた！
２本足で立ってフリスビーの連続キャッチもただ今練習中！２０−３０秒立てる様になってきてます！

Picture is Koto with Mini-Agility jump bar which we made during the weekend. She loves this children's tunnel (always looks like she vaccuum into this tunnel!) She knew my follow my hand command, so it is easy to teach her jump and tunnel! We are practicing to let her stand on her hind legs to catch few Frisbee!

Mizuna-Mitsuba

日曜の夜、琴の今年のトレーニンング終了祝いをした。 マーケットに行くとシーフードが何時もより安くて新鮮に思えたので　思わず牡蠣１２個、生タコ、それからマグロを購入、もちろん琴にも牛骨！牡蠣フライとタルタルソース、タコとマグロのカルパッチョを作った！カルパッチョにはタマネギ、ワカメ、セロリと家で育った水菜とみつばをいれた。シャキシャキ感と新鮮魚介類！水菜はこちらでは購入できない野菜だが　今年は雨も多くぐんぐん育っている。　日本野菜の家庭菜園が楽しいこのごろです。それからそろそろゴボウの収穫!
On Sunday night, we celebrate the end of Dog training for this year. We found very fresh and cheap sea food at the market, we bought 1 dz oysters, raw-octopus, and sashimi-tuna also got some bones for koto! I made deep fried oysters with tar tar source, Plum&Ooba source-Karupatcho (dunno how to spell this..) with onion, celory, Mizuna-Mitsuba the Japanese herbs which has been growing very well in our garden. These vegies are not available in the veggie shops here,very exciting to have them fresh! We will harvest Gobo very soon.

Well done Koto!

日曜の朝、琴のオビディエンステストがあった。既に別の学校では受かっているレベルテストなので　あまり緊張はしていなかったが、この日は土曜から降り続いた大雨。いつもは恵みの雨だが、この日に限っては　あいにくの大雨、トレイルは水浸し泥だらけ。　伏せで”２分間マテ”　こんな普段は練習さえもしないような簡単なコマンドが水浸しのトレイルでは難しくなる。毛の短いスタッフォードテリアや足の短いバセットハウンドは座るのさえも完全否定している状態。突然降り出した大雨にみんなが一斉に雨宿りの為、走りだしたのとかなりの犬と人が狭い屋根の下で雨宿りしたので琴も大興奮！その騒々しい中、それでもテストは決行！結局落ち着かせる事ができず、スタンドステイで、近寄ってくる人をムシするコマンドが出来ませんでした。それからソーセージを持って近づいてくる人をムシさせる、これも少し動いてしまい落ちたぁと思ったが、天候を考慮して頂いて、見事合格！というより見事ぎりぎり合格！でも合格には間違いないのでとにかく良かったーー。今年のドックトレーニングは終了したので　来年からは念願のアジリティと社会科レッスンだ！

Koto had a "2nd" Basic Obedience test on Sunday morning at Croydon. Rain is very important in the summer but it was not pleasant rain at all on Sunday morning. Trail was covered in mud and cold rain water, which made simple commands to the most difficult one. Most of the short haired dogs refused to sit, drop on the ground. When it started pouring down the rain, we all run into the building, that made Koto really excited and worried, she couldn't stand stay well, she couldn't refuse sausage when examiner came to her. I thought we failed, but Koto passed!!They consider the weather condition. That was great achievement and also made us so excited about starting agility next year! This year's dog training is finally finished!! yay. Good job Koto!

Colours of Sunrise

キャンプで早起きした際、朝日が登る前の空の色をみた。
とてもエモーショナルで印象的な色だった。
I saw sky colour changes quickly before Sunrise when we got up early during the camping trip.
It was very emotional and strong impact colours.

flower of the week

今週の花。名前の解らない花（花なのか？）とても可愛くて眺めているだけで優しい気持ちにしてくれる。赤の花瓶にピッタリだ。
I don't know the name of this flower (is it flower??) but very cute make me feel calm. Suits well with my red vase.

Under the tree

シドニーのダーリンハーストで見かけたとてもすてきなベンチのデザイン。
木陰で一休みしたくなりますね。
Beautiful sitting area design in Sydney, Darlinghurst. Everybody wants to have rest under the tree shade!

Wild Succulents carpet

Altonaは石油工場などがある工業地帯で、あまりいい雰囲気の街ではないがビーチへ行く途中　奇麗なピンク色が一面に広がっているのが見えたので車を止めて散歩してみると、多肉植物の花が一面に開花していた。ピンクのカーペット、歩いてみるとフワフワだった。

Altona is not nice area to visit, there is big petrol factory and looks very industrial city. On the way to the beach, I saw beautiful bright pink colours all over the altona, so we stopped car and walk to the beach. It was wild succulents flower bloomed everywhere, looks like hot pink carpet! koto tested to walk on the carpet, it was really soft and bouncy:) We loved it.

今年の夏は猛暑が続くと予想されているがどうやら始まったらしい。今日は３４度、朝７時半前に散歩に出たが　既に日差しが強くいつもより早めに切り上げて帰って来た。週末は屋外でのドッグトレーニングの後、琴が本当に暑そうだったのでAltonaのドッグビーチに行って来た。メルボルンのオフリードOKのビーチの中では一番良いのでは！？広いビーチ、スカイブルーの海と空。私は木曜に起こったやけど事件のせいで海には入れなかったが、青い海と白い砂をパラソルの下で満喫した！　
Its getting really hot here in Melbourne, Today is going to be 34 Degrees,I left for walk Koto before 8am but it was already too hot. I need to leave earlier for walk.. Weekend was real hot too so we went to Altona dog off leash beach to cool Koto down. I thought it was the best dog beach I have been so far! Crystal clear ocean with huge open space for dogs to run around and swim!! I couldn't go swim because of my burned ankle from Thursday's park. but I enjoyed blue sky and ocean with white sand under the parasol, watching my doggy and partner:) swimming.

BD Presents

少し以前の話だが、久しぶりに友達を呼んで誕生日を兼ねたBBQ、楽しかった。 その際に友達から頂いた奇麗な花。この可愛いチューリップはこの暑さには耐えられなかったが　２週間経ったいまだ、この黄色い花束すべてが元気である！オーキッド（蘭）正に花の嬢王！次の写真はジュエラーのゆうりちゃんに　誕生日プレゼントに創って頂いたアンクレット。本当に奇麗、ジュエリーを貰うとなぜか特別な気持ちになれます。本当にお気に入り♪
Story from awhile ago, My Birthday BBQ was excellent and we enjoyed so much. these photos are some present from this day, this beautiful turip didn't last in this hot weather, but amazingly this yellow vase flowers are still in good condition! I've been realizing how strong orchids are!! They are really the queen of flowers! Next photo is present from Yu-ri. She made me this gorgeous anklet. It is so beautiful and made me feel so special. Receiving accessorie is very special!!

Tilted head BCs

youtube でパグが頭を捻らせて飼い主の声を聞いているビデオをまねてみました。
パグ程ノリがよくありません。それにしても　ここに映ってる琴ちゃん。まるで男の子です。本当に野性的。。
Have you seen Tilted head Pug's video on youtube? I made the same video with BCs, but not great as pugs tilted head! Btw, Koto looks very wild and manly on this video.. Oh I love her!!

Mosaic Tree

ボタニカルガーデンで出会った、まるでモザイクタイルを張り合わせたような巨大な木。 奇麗な色と細かい模様にみとれた。 We met this amazing tree at Botanical Garden. It was like mosaic tiles laid on tree!b Beautiful colours and details.

Many Trees are in full bloom this time of the year in Melbourne.　　It's nice to walk around!

Japanese Harb garden

オーストラリアでは　新鮮な状態では手に入らない野菜がいくつか有る。　今まであきらめてきたが、自家栽培に挑戦中。
サラダゴボウ、三つ葉、水菜、大葉、すべてが順調にぐんぐん育っていて　卵の容器でつくったちいさな菜園から可愛い芽をだしている！

There are many vegetables from Japan that we can not buy in Australia in fresh. Greater Burdock is one of them, its tall plant sometimes reaching as much as 2 metres. The root is very crisp and has a sweet, mild, and pungent flavor with a little muddy harshness that can be reduced by soaking julienned/shredded roots in water for five to ten minutes. We planted Salada type Greater burdock, and some japanese harbs Mitsuba(Cryptotaenia), Mizuna (Potherb Musterd), and Shiso in containers. They are growing fast!

One One One

日本の11月1日は　ワンワンワンにちなんで犬の日！なので　今日は　まる１日Kotoと思いっきり遊んだ。 朝から　自転車で公園までダッシュで行き、思いっきり走った後は　沢山の犬や地面の臭いを思いっきり好きなだけ　かがせてあげた。
昼間買い物へ出かけた際は　大きな骨をプレゼント！思いっきり楽しんだ様子！ 午後は川沿いをゆっくり散歩して　広場でフリスビーで遊んであげた。家では　back Throughという新しいトリックを教えてあげた。
お陰で楽しい一日だったよう、とっても嬉しそうな顔！

Japanese people describe Dog's barking sound as "Wan-Wan!" Not "woof-woof" ! that's why 1st of November is Doggy day in Japan. (There are Three One in 1st of November, that's why it is a Doggy Day in Japan) I played with Koto all day today because of its doggy day in my mind. In the morning, She run to the park and sniffed around, meet many dogs. In the afternoon, we went to Yarra bend park to walk along the river and although played frisbee at Oval. At home, I taught her new trick called " Back Through" She is getting them, just needs to put these 3 components in one trick now! She looked really happy today!
